Presenting Professional Acts on the State Theatre Stage

For over a century, the State Theatre Center for the Arts has served as a cornerstone for live entertainment in Fayette County and throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Built on the vision of bringing high-quality, world-class performances to our community, the theatre continues to carry that mission forward today.

Our season performances represent the heart of that commitment. Each year, we present a curated lineup of 4–5 professional engagements, featuring a diverse mix of music acts, family shows, tribute bands, and unique one-night experiences.

Running from early fall through late spring, our season offers opportunities year-round to gather, celebrate, and experience live entertainment in a historic setting. No matter when you attend, you’ll find moments that are engaging, memorable, and uniquely shared with your community.

Our programming is thoughtfully selected to appeal to a wide range of audiences. Whether you are a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time, our season is designed to offer something for everyone.

Educational Performance Opportunities

In addition to our public performances, the State Theatre is committed to fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts through educational programming. Select season performances are paired with opportunities for local students to experience live theatre in an engaging and accessible way.

These experiences provide more than just entertainment. They introduce students to the performing arts, enhance classroom learning, and create meaningful connections to live performance. By welcoming schools and youth groups into the theatre, we aim to inspire the next generation of artists, audiences, and community leaders.
