Accessible Seating
Wheelchair, companion, and accessible seating are available for all performances. A limited number of accessible seats are reserved for each event to best accommodate guests’ needs.
To purchase accessible seating, please contact the Box Office prior to your visit so we can ensure the best seating options are available for you.
No Elevator Access
Please note that the State Theatre does not have an elevator.
Guests who purchase seats in Sections 4, 5, and 6 will require stairs to access the mezzanine level. Guests seated in Sections 7, 8, and 9 will require stairs to access the balcony.
Patrons wishing to remain on the main level should purchase seats in Sections 1, 2, or 3, or contact the Box Office for assistance selecting appropriate seating.
Accessible Entrance
The theatre's Main Street entrance is wheelchair accessible from the sidewalk.
Guests requiring curbside drop-off may be dropped off in the designated fire lane directly in front of the theatre. This area is reserved for active loading and unloading only. Vehicles may not be left unattended or parked in the fire lane.
Service Animals & Guest Assistance
Service animals trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability are welcome inside the State Theatre in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are not permitted to sit in the aisles. For extra space accommodation, please contact the Box Office.
Our staff and volunteer ushers are available at every performance to assist guests with seating and help ensure a comfortable theatre experience.
Built in 1922, the State Theatre is proud to preserve its historic character while continually working to improve accessibility for all guests. Although some architectural limitations remain, we are committed to making thoughtful enhancements that better serve our community while preserving the beauty and history of this landmark theatre.
